What is a QR code? QR codes, or quick response codes, resemble traditional bar codes in that they encode information in a two-dimensional image. A typical QR code can include approximately 7,000 numeric characters, or 4,000 alphanumeric characters. For marketing, the possibilities are endless and evolving. The intent is to quickly connect smartphone owners with deeper information about a business or product.
How do I scan a QR Code with my smartphone? Just Google it.... but if you have a camera-enabled Blackberry, here are some directions:

1. On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click theBlackBerry Messenger icon.
2. On the contact list screen, press the Menu key.
3. Click Invite Contact.
4. Click Scan a person's barcode.
5. Click Continue.
6. Hold your device so that all four corners of the QR code appear on your device’s screen. Continue to hold the device until you hear the success beep.
7. Click Yes to open the link... and VOILA!
